SgtBill's M&G Extra Thread
Re: SgtBill's M&G Extra Thread
I sure hope everyone is up to eating chicken that day. Food Lion had leg quarters on sale so I picked up a few pounds......... 80 pounds to be exact.
All I need now is run to wal mart and get the BBQ sauce. When I was putting it in my spare freezer I found 20-30 pounds of deer burger I forgot I had. Might have to cook that too.

Besides being woman enough to shoot my grandfathers .303 Enfield rifle at the Culpeper shoot and greet my wife is great at making true southern pecan pie. I will bring two of them to the shindig. I also have plenty of venison roasts and steaks from this past year I will bring for the grillmaster.

If you plan on bring food or drink (or anything else), add it to the list on the food thread

Okay, Okay I talked her into making three pies instead of two. I hate to see swordplay over pie. Her pecan pie is worth drawing sabers over though.

They've died for less. I was watching a show called a thousand ways to die and two teenage genius's decided to snort fire ants up their nose because they thought Ozzie Ozbourne had done it when he was young. They didn't make it, gotta love the darwin affect.

Re: SgtBill's M&G Extra Thread
Let's see, I'm 6'3" and 307 lbs. She's 5'7" and weight classified but let's just say it's a whole helluva lot less than me. The problem is she knows where I sleep and if she's in the kitchen too long I might end up at Sgt Bill's with a cast iron skillet tattoo
. All joking aside she would make 10 of them if we had the money. The ingredients she uses are all top notch and real expensive. She lost her job last fall when her company went bankrupt and I haven't been able to work since the Veterans hospital in Richmond messed up my back surgery in September. They damaged a nerve during surgery but refuse to increase my disability pay. I have been fighting the VA since February and if I win before Bill's I will bring pie for everybody!!!!

Re: SgtBill's M&G Extra Thread
Dk, that show is the funniest and saddest commentary on people I have ever seen. It's all about how there are a " Thousand Ways to Die". There are some that are just dumb accidents but most are some seriously stupid people getting what they deserve. One I remember was two brothers that were drunk as hell shooting their guns on their property out west in the desert. When one brother went to change the targets the other brother thought it would be funny to fire at his feet and chase him with bullets. The one being shot at ran until he tripped into a bush. Unfortunately the bush was home to several western diamondback rattlesnakes that were seeking shelter from the sun. He was bitten in the chest very close to the heart and was dead before the medics got there. It's a great show, I think it's on the spike network. You really should check it out sometime for a laugh. It's like a bible of how not too act.

I've watched that show a few times. A lot of the deaths are like "WTF was that person thinking???"

Well, I'm not into laughing at the ills of others but when stupidity is involved and they are all standing in first place for this year's Darwin award thats a little different...I did look at the website but can honestly say I've never seen this advertised on TV...not that I watch much...firstcavapache64 wrote:Dk, that show is the funniest and saddest commentary on people I have ever seen.
