Reminds me of an old friend that cut his finger off on the table saw. Doc sewed it back on and he asked the Dr. " Will I be able to play the banjo when this thing heals?" doc said sure- friend said "Great- 'cuz I never could get the hang of it before!"

It was a tough spot to find. Our GPS took us to the wrong spot and we had to call Randy to help us find him.

Randy said the porta potty man charged him double to bring one out there... told him him folks that live that far in the boonies just go in the woods.

We were really happy to have everyone at our meet and greet .It's nice to have faces to go along with people we talk with on line. Carol and I were talking on our way home about maybe trying to make it an annual event...in April or October with a little cooler weather. We also want to thank everyone for bringing all the food ,drinks, deserts and canopies.
I was glad to have the young kids and seeing them take an interest in shooting ! I'm sorry about "captjack" and MrSmitty , but we will do it again !

Judging by the pics, it looks like a good time was had. Sorry I missed it.

But on the other hand the race was a lot of fun. It was fun riding the pace car around the track and getting to see the drivers up close and personal. The #2 car was amazing, leading all but a few laps. Never seen a car so dialed in, and BK did a masterful job of driving. Got down to victory lane to see the celebration up close and managed to get sprayed with champagne. Pretty sticky on the ride home, but it was worth it.

What a great time Valerie and I had at Randy and Carol's. Many Thanks Randy and Carol for opening your property and your hospitality. It was certainly nice to meet some of the people that make VGOF a great forum to belong to. Val and I are looking forward to the next VGOF Meet and Greet.
