Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

The little box with the newest posts doesn't show up on my I-Pad, which makes it rather tiresome to check Va Fun Owners Forum with that. Neither do the links to things like "View your posts". What am I doing wrong?

Can you use the "View New Posts" link at the top of the page?.

Done.

The issue with the new posts page, clicking a topic and being sent to the home page instead of the topic seems to only happen when I hit the "back" button to return to the new posts page and then select another topic. If I use the New Posts link at the top of the page to return each time, the topic that I click always works.

Anyone disagree with that statement?

No. My screen has “New Posts, Active Topics, User Control Panel (beta)” under the “Virginia Gun Owner’s Forum VGOF” heading.

Now th at you mention it Rick, yes, the error occurs when I use the back button. I'll remember to hit the home, New or active post buttons from now on. Could you put duplicate links at the bottom so I done have to scroll back up? I appreciate the timely service. if only the government worked this fast!

I'll try to fix the problem rather than add links to work around it. I'll only user the workaround if I can;t figure it out (which is quite possible).

It seems to be that the click action in mobile browsers is being cached on the previous page when you hit the back button. I think it might be a javascript issue.

OK - then you have the right screen (I added the "Active Topics" link after I took that screenshot).

I wasn't getting that last time I signed in with the I-Pad. I was getting a different screen.

I use it very seldom, so I can't remember exactly what that screen looked like, but I think it was just the same thing without those links to the “New Posts, Active Topics, User Control Panel (beta)” . Doesn't matter now, I guess.
