I myself think maybe it wasn't presented as well. But for those who really read it could kind of understand what I meant when I said it. I clearly hit home with those who felt the need to respond defensively. Because like I said if what I said didnt apply to how you were or felt you would read it & move on. Again that posted wasnt meant for everyone. I know for a fact this isnt a site filled with ignorant people, but there are some that are and the ones that got bent out of shape about what I said clearly must be some of those people. Now maybe not everyone who got bent out of shape have that mind set, that just goes back to maybe I presented differently from what I wanted to say. For there to be over 300 views and only 50 some odd post just shows that some came and read what I said and thought "well this doesnt apply to me so oh well."

I read your first post twice and had to go check to see if you had any others before passing judgment you had just registered merely for the fun of dropping a grenade in our midst...posting something like that in a place like this is asking for a war of words...most of those who passed by did so probably because they did not care to waste their time crafting a response - not because they felt they had no need to defend themselves...and many of those also knew that plenty would indeed post...most of the ones who have posted on this thread are active posters on many other topics as well...at any rate this could turn out to be an interesting discourse...

I dont know anyone on here to be able to tell anyone how they are or what they think. I can only on what I've read from so of the people who felt the need to sound like bigots. It wasnt like everyone on a particular discussions just sat there and talked wrecklessly. But just reading a lot I've cam across quite a few disturbing post and thats pretty much all I was saying. I sold my hi point that I just used for the shooting range to someone off this site and he was very pleasant. I didnt join this site to start any crap, I dont have the time or real care for that. I joined this site originally just to sell my gun then I start looking at different things and enjoyed reading of the things then I started running across other post that I didnt enjoy reading. So this account wasnt made just to do some internet fighting like Im sure there have been other people who have made an account for that single purpose. Like I said before despite this whole post I plan on continuing to read other post and join in from time to time.

So you DON'T want a war of words. Allow me to retort. W and Cheney and Reagan were not thugs, But both Clintons and Janet Reno are, along with Chavez and Castro. And I would still rather have them in the White House than Obama. Also, I think you are the sort of person that decries how we treated the American Indian, and then talks about how ignorant people are in Texas and Oklahoma. And watch it because I'm part Commanche. And yes, pants slung around your thighs are stupid. So to conclude this your sleeping-soundly-at-night-because-I-told-those-rednecks-off argument, I think you were instructed on how to do this (and call radio talk shows) by a liberal think think for beer money. Now, go get a haircut and a job. And to throw things off even more. There's not been any real country music since Hank Williams Sr Died, except for perhaps Motorhead, Social Distortion and the Dubliners.

I agree with you, having your pants around your thighs is completely stupid. Again read the post and it clearly says " I know some of you have run across some shady characters." I myself carry a gun b/c of these characters. I know some people can be stupid and like to do stupid things. If you read SOME of the things I've read then you'd know why I said what I said. If you dont understand then oh well. I have also read things about the same thing I was talking about and I've actually agreed. Yes there are definitely some very very ignorant african american people. But there are also very ignorant white people and every race. Im just saying dont make it seem like those individuals represent the whole race. Thats really all im saying. Not every black person carries themselves in a manner that makes you want to throw up. As for the music... I myself dont like recently released rap songs because it sounds like trash, but not all is bad. But the music to me really wasnt the point in the post. I do have a haircut that I get every week and a job. I actually have a job that pays be 85k a year, that doesnt include any bonuses or the investments I've been making. So...check yourself.

I actually dont have any problem with you whatsoever. This post wasn't posted talking about every single person on this site. The post was posted for those people who are the bigots and are stuck in their ways about their perception of African American people. When I first joined the site I didn't see much ignorance. As I started reading my post and looking at older ones it seemed like some were just talking about "black" people out of nowhere. One min they're talking about a gun then someone comes in and says some nonsense and I'm reading thinking "what does that have to do with this post" then that becomes the topic of discussion. Like I said in my post I actually really do like this site and despite this posting I'm still going to visit the site. Again I have nothing against you unless you're one who feels this unfortunate ignorant hatred for African Americans. Now maybe some may have misunderstood what I may have been trying to say.

Well as some of my best friends over the years have and still are African American, so I have no problems with race. I only have problems with A&* Holes and those come in all shapes and sizes and yes color as well. If you have a problem with an individual then call that individual out on what you disagree with and have a good natured debate about it. Please do not post a Must Read and generalize it as you did because that is not well taken as you can see. I have to admit I was upset about it when I first read your comments and waited to see the mood of the thread, and you not only stirred the hornets nest but you kicked it in the stream.
I guess that is one way to get attention but not really the smartest way. The moderators here try to keep an even tone, and if you had tried to talk to one of them you might have had better results.

Next; dude - you are so WRONG. I am a relative n00b here and have met some of these folks exactly ONCE (see the Culpeper SnG threads). I would trust my kids with the folks I met at Culpeper. I agree I believe I did go about it the wrong way. From personally meeting you I do apologize if you took offense to it. My intent really wasn't the way actually turned out. I should've took a different approach. I really didnt want it to turn out like this, nor did I think it would. I then should've clarified a lil better instead of making it bigger. But this is done now. I hope the gun worked out for you when you went to the range Thursday.
