Swampman, I feel your pain. I 'm going to spend Saturday working in the garage myself. I've got shelves to finish and several projects for Carol. I'm also designing and building a target stand.

Well, I guess the good news is that the weather has made it possible for Dusterdude to make it ! Sometimes that work thing does get in the way of having fun. I've been wanting for Ddude to get to our Range for a while. It also gives Marc 3 extra weeks to get his truck loaded. I do want to check out those Lever Rifles.

Im eagerly awaiting the 24th

I'm sorry I won't be able to make it, this year. My cousin is getting married next weekend, so that's when I'll be home.

I wasn't able to make it this weekend. I'll have to check with my schedule coordinator to see how the 24th works out for me.

After spending a few hours at the range today, I have to say I am glad we rescheduled the meet and greet. We picked up debris for a while and stacked firewood. A couple of days of sunshine and the range will be ready for the 24th.

well the 24th is now penciled in. The 50 bmg might just get some walking time after all.

Randy,do we need to bring our own targets?

Please !!! I am building new target stands and have plywood for stapling paper targets on. I also have steel targets for most rifles. If anyone is shooting LARGE caliber ' s please bring your own targets.

Hmmm acceptable target for a 50... some one have a spare BMP-2 we can use?

The tracks on mine are damaged. No way to transport it, unfortunately.

I surely hope that the weather on the 24th is like it was today and yesterday. I haven't gotten hardly anything accomplished with it being so nice. A perfect Fall Day!

Just a thread bump so we can get an update on who is bringing what, and what is still needed.

Carol is making a dessert and we are going to have a cooler of soft drinks and water. Other things needed would be ice , chips , drinks or a side dish .
