I used to run Cajun bass boats "back in the day." When Cajun went out of business, and I switched to Javelin's I was too lazy to change names.

Once, when I was a newly promoted LCpl in the Marine Corps I got my Drivers liscense suspended for accumulating too many points in a year (all speeding tickets). Of course I had to go and talk to the Company 1stSgt about it.

He gave me the usual "what a bad example I was setting" stuff and told me I was going to be know as LCpl Reckless Driver.... all this stuff you know.

At any rate that was about the time when Hotmail became the "in thing", since I needed a handle and his "talking to" was fresh in my mind I became "rklessdriver". Since I'm the simple minded sort, I've used that screen name for all my forum logins since.

I was CSAR medic in Desert Storm and then a Flight Paramedic for about 7 of my 19 years in the Army. Dustoff = Dedicated Unhesitating Service To Our Fighting Forces. Medic = What i do for a living. Still serving and still keep my Paramedic even as a First Sergeant.

Thanks for your service, Ty. I'm grateful for the first aid I learned on active duty. It still comes in handy. Just hope I never have to fill in for you.

I worked with Naval aviation types. One started calling me Mongo(Blazing Saddles) and it stuck.

Was a light infantry battalion scout. Our plt seemed to get a majority of the s**t details. Our motto was F*** It Drive On.

Eagleye was the nickname lovingly bestowed upon me by my co-workers/friends because I would catch things they missed (in a quality control capacity). 44 I wish stood for .44Magnum. Sadly it does not. My screen name used to be Eagleye442. I love classic muscle cars and the Old's 442 is one of my fav's. One of the many sites I signed onto required that my screen name be 9 characters or less so I dropped the 2. It's been eagleye44 ever since which is about 18 - 19 years now.

Oh, and BTW, my eyesight has deteriorated quite a bit so I should probably change it. :shades:

Ah, a fellow fan of the Rocket Oldsmobiles

I wish mine was a 442, but it's close since all 442's were Cutlass Supremes too. Here's my '67 Holiday Coupe.

I had to change my old online user name, it got me into trouble. Turned into DHS, then the Justice and then my agency. Now I use a name that has nothing to do with work...GTI comes from the my love of VW GTI's and John is my first name..

I can say be very careful of user names and what you post using that name...It ain't worth the hassle..I work across the street from the Puzzle Palace...

Cheers,
John

That is one BEAUTIFUL Holiday buddy. Awesome car.

I haven't actually owned a 442 since my '65 in 1980. Since then I've owned mostly Camaro's but I still love the 442. I'll have another. Definitely...

One of my concerns too. Be careful what you say. I work in the PP.

Well, mine isn't hard to figure out. Moccasin got bit by a snake and since I am his wife it just came out to be MsMoccasin.

kle = K. Le, my actual name. Not very imaginative, but it's what Virginia Tech gave me for a student ID, and I figured it's about as accurate as anything.

Yeah, that's me. Not to brag or nothin' =)

I've been busy--training for a 100-mile bicycle ride and shooting at pistol matches.

I'd sure like to go to another one, though...if for nothing else than the fun stuff you can do @ Hite Hollow vs. other ranges (a pistol in each hand? bump firing? point shooting? It's all gravy there, as long as you do it safely).

I purchased one of the first 45XD Compacts that Springfield Armory produced. Great Gun! I use 45XDC on several other sites as well, its easy for my aging brain to remember.
