Rick, it's been a while since I was an Amazon affiliate, but I recall that you got a bigger percentage of the sale if the reader clicked a direct link to the product they bought instead of just clicking a link that led them to a search page. If that's still true, would you be interested in having people contact you to request a direct link to something particular they want, or would that be too much work? For example, if they want to buy a DeSantis holster, they could email you, you could set up a direct link for them to click on via PM, and then you'd get (IIRC) 10% instead of 5% of the purchase price.

Jamie - I'm not sure if the percentage is different or not. It's a good thought - I'll check it out. Thanks!

The amount of Amazon purchases made by my lovely wife will probably pay someones salary.... I will do this from now on...
Actually, I buy a lot of my hunting stuff on there.... it is amazing what you can find on their site and if you have a 'Prime' account it us usually free shipping... just wish I still had the 100 shares I purchase years ago when it was selling for less than $10 share... I held for a while but sold it when it got around $75.... I think it is way over $250 now.... oh, well.... "C'est la vie"

I don't do the internet shopping thing, but GF does. I make her go through here when she orders from Amazon.

Thank you to everyone who participates in this service. Every order placed at Amazon which originates at a VGOF page helps to support this website!
Please use the following referral link or any of the amazon links in the VaGunForum.net pages to do your Christmas shopping from the comfort of your home this year!

Have you joined the SMILE program? We did that in one of the other non-profits I'm on the board with. Works well for us.

Good suggestion. Unfortunately, VGOF isn't registered as a 501(c)(3) organization.

Maybe we should. I don't think we're making any profits lately.
