It's faith, nothing else. It completely tweaks his world view such that only government can cause, react, or solve anything. No rational thesis has ever been penned which explains how the use of force can solve these problems. It's nothing but faith in government.Tweaker wrote:Kreutz - You gave examples of ethical violations as well as possible corruption which may have been legal or at least was not properly prosecuted by the government.
All of this was MADE POSSIBLE by the inaction or oversight or ignorance of the .gov. How is more government going to solve this problem?
Do you hold the belief that greed is either less prevalent or impossible under a socialist .gov? If there are more poor people and fewer party members with all the power/money as in every socialist country is this a situation you view as more favorable?
Which is the country that you point to and say, this is a terrific example of socialism and we should be just like that? You claimed in another thread that Switzerland is a socialist country. That not correct AFAIK.

Because they haven't devalued it. The currencies are all fiat and backed by nothing other than a governments promise to tax the people (now or in the future). Lots of things affect the relative valuation of fiat notes, but one of the critical factors is how much and how quickly you devalue it. Remember the US didn't just "bail out" our system, we practically did a large portion of the world too (IIRC most of the banking liquidity crisis money went overseas regardless of what name/program is was rationalized under).Kreutz wrote:Tweaker wrote:Kruetz, you are a truly misguided individual.

Sooooo...why is their currency worth so much more than ours eh (and its been that way for years)?
My "misguided" mind cant affect currency exchanges after all....or CAN it?

Yeeeaahhh, real stunners there!
American women:
I'll stick with American women!

Wait...we...need reasons to post gorgeous women?Reverenddel wrote:HOLD UP!
I have seen gorgeous women EVERYWHERE! AND WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH BANKING!?!?
can't disagree with that. It's simply this, you need a viable banking system to transact business.
You're on to something there actually. Credit unions for people, banks for companies (also people according to the Romney-bot 3000, but I digress). That would actually work very well.Perhaps BUSINESSES should create their OWN BANK,
and have NO PERSONAL accounts!
That should be how it works, but alas finance (like damned near everything else)has too many lobbyists. It FAILS! So be it! Another buys the accounts, part/parcels out the rest, and viola! New bank arises!
Ever been to Oktoberfest? I didnt want to leave! The party ends early though, like 10pm IIRC. Remember, beer is proof God loves us and wants us to be happy. boobs, welllllllllll.....they speak for themselves.*** P.S. No offense to our female members, but I love shots of boobies, and beer. Makes me happy knowin' these things are combined on occasion ***
