His "death" does come at a most opportune time for fearless leader...watch his approval ratings rise over the next couple of months....makes me wonder really hard what's coming next....first the BC and now this...stay tuned folks, its gonna get real interesting soon...

Obama should see a temporary approval bump of about 10 - 12%, but it will tank again as people get back to their daily routine of high gas and grocery prices.
Don't fall for the distractions of birth certificates and dead terrorists. Keep watching what the other hand is doing.

Remember back when Saddam's son's bought the farm and their bodies were shown all over TV ? Anyone seen Osama's dead body on the news? I'm not believing it one bit than Osma is dead.

Let's see one week we have Obama's birth certificate and the next we have a dead Osama, something ain't right. They could'a capped any old dune coon and toss him out of a copter. I think the proper funeral for a terriost muslim would be plant him in a hog lot. But with obama as a commander in thief, he wouldn't have it. Might offend one of his buddies.

+1
The conspiracy theory of "he's not dead" or "he is already died and they are lying" doesn't fit. There is still 1 year and 8 months to till the reelection and people forget things quick. Plus the first thing a new Pres would do is reveal the truth.

[quote="Pumbaa"]Seal Team 6, CIA and Delta Force...
Looks like 6 will take the credit for the kill, but word is they provided perimeter security and D took the shot.
I have read a couple of forums today that Delta and Seal Team Six both were on the mission, that they train together and share a lot of missions, most of which we don't hear about. Training together and sharing missions seems to be open knowledge. Makes sense that they would use a team combining both.
Earlier news reports said that the copters were "Blackhawks" and one Chinook - sounds like the 160th SOAR might have flown them in, because their mission is to fly Special Operations & they have special versions of the Blackhawk and Chinook.
Just my opinion, but it is hard to imagine such a critical mission not having air cover - stealth birds like the B2, F22, F119? Also seems to me that there would have been back up plans with special operators to go in if it hit the fan.
Big plus for JSOC and the intelligence Services at a time when Obama and Congress are set to cut JSOC's funding and not pay for requested additional Operators for DEVGRU (6) and Delta.
Oleman -

+1 and I'm glad he was killed so we don't have to go thru all the nonsense about trying him.
A good question - who replaces him. Al Qaeda and such groups, and their leaders are really multi-headed snakes, so there likely won't be a lack of candidates to assume his roles.
I always figured there was no way he would be taken alive. Whoever found him would have "accidentally" dumped their magazine into him when they realized who he was.
I expect that he has already been replaced - he was just a figure head. I'm sure our illustrious government will come up with some reason we have to keep our service members over there "just a little longer."
I find it interesting, by the way, that last week, they announced that Petraeus was transferring to be the head of the CIA... maybe they had a pretty good idea even then that Bin Laden was done?
I also thought he would not likely be taken alive. Whether he actually fought back or not, he would be 'killed while resisting". That may well be what really happened. Some news reports say he was shot twice in the left side of his head. Could be the famous "double tap" know to be favored by Delta Force and Seal Team Six (DEVGRU).

Obama will milk this cow till it screams bloody blue murder,,by then he'll have revved up the losers that got him elected in the first place. That's what happened last time only his promises of liberal Utopia were the gifts. As far as I see it,he gets no credit for this mission or it;s outcome. It's not like his nutless ass was on the line in the take down. What would be a great video is seeing Usama and that $hit eating smug ass look of his get his hair parted about 3 inches low and dead nuts center.

All I can say is well done to my brothers in arms. Just because the gov't says that someone or something doesn't exist does not make it so. Seal team 6 does not exist on paper or rank, however at least one of those boys knew how to control his weapon and keep em' in the 10 ring. As for proof of this action, ask yourself "would a sitting president actually go live on national tv and openly state that the United States is back in the business of assassination? Yeah, it happened. And I'm sure that pictures will be floating around as soon as the media comes up with enough money to buy them.

Great minds think alike Henry...my guess is he's gonna ride this right up until 11 Sep 2011 -- the 10th anniversary of 9/11....make a big deal with ceremony and then he's got a year to create more excitement to stir up zombie votes come Nov 2012...

MSNBC last night was saying "They killed an unarmed man." Kept saying it over, and over again.
My eyes started hurting from doing this...
What...the...(Fill in with your favorite expletive)...ever.
Every day I'm movin' further into the conservative arena because the far left wing just gets so ridiculous in their opinions.

And how many innocent people in the WTC were armed?.
Yeah, that's what I thought. More liberal douchebaggery from the MSM.

Turns out Osama's hideout is 800 yards from the Pakistani Military Academy (Pakistan's version of West Point). Allies my ASS!
And speaking of Pakistani muslims, my wife's manager is a Pakistani muslim. My wife said that yesterday she was uncharacteristically angry with everyone "for no reason". She was nasty with everyone and wouldn't leave her office the entire day. Draw your own conclusion about these "peaceful" muslims living here in the USA, but I sure as hell will never stop watching my back as long as one of them are around me.

OF COURSE THEY HAD TO SHOOT HIM IN THE HEAD ON SIGHT!
Otherwise, some depraved Bush administration holdover might have waterboarded him. That would be entirely unethical, unliberal and unacceptable.

Of course the pic is fake. This whole thing is too perfect, first the birth certificate and now this, sorry but I don't think that he is dead. Unknown's pics prove it.
