Yep, nipple pick. To be specific it's an "inline nipple pick."

For anyone who isn't involved with muzzleloaders a nipple pick cleans the tiny hole in the nipple (where the percussion cap goes) so that the spark from the percussion cap can reach the powder.

Indeed it is! (aftermarket Hi Power thumb safety) From a side-view it would have been painfully obvious. Top-down they look nearly identical (but you can still make out the outline of two of the major differences).

My apologies !!!! I am ignorant of the rules. It's a flash hider for a .50 cal MG. Man am I a dork. I guess I'll go read the rules and get in line.
