Wow, you guys are scarin' me... I got a full mag in whatever I have on me but extra mags or ammo... well, never really thought about it... I figure 10 rounds should about do it for me... but like you say... who knows??? mmmm maybe I need to just fill my pockets with extra rounds... I mean... uh........... damn... now I am really starting to think... I think I still have a couple of frags in the locker box... course I don't have a CCW for grenades... but then... maybe I can find that old 3.5.... or that old Garand... stick it in the truck... uhh... or better still...

an old standby 1918A2... that the Marines let me have back in the day... course as I recall, it was only a 20 rnd. mag... but I recall I carried 4 or 6 extras...

... alright, now before you guys start blasting me ... I am pulling your chains... :pistol: if you want to carry extra mags or ammo that is fine... I just don't have the room on my belt or in my pack or laptop bag... I mean, certainly you can never have enough but realistically, you have to make a conscious decision on how much you can actually tote. I have a full mag of 10 in my Taurus PT145 and I guess if I go through those... I will just have to make sure I hit the threat. If there are any more... well, as they say.......... I will just have to "give it my best shot."

If you need more than 2-3 rounds then you should probably seriously be thinking about leaving the area real quick...but with that I sometimes carry an extra mag...
No more catchy slogans for me...I am simply fed up...4...four...4...2+2...

This is sunset on my lake, in my backyard.... and that's a 22oz. Strawberry Margaretta... I will admit, I am not carrying in this picture... and my extra magazine is on the table... beside the other gallon of Strawberry Margaritas... this picture however, was not taken this week....

I carry My Kel Tec P-11 with a 12 round mag on my right side , I carry a 15 round mag on my left side , I usually drop another 15 round mag in my pocket. I am a Diesel Mechanic by trade and I have found my self working on truck down town at night , on those night I keep a 1911 and three mags in the work truck and my P11 on my i also have a mini 14 tucked in the bottom drawer of the tool box on the back of the truck with 3 30 round mags. My boss thinks I am crazy for carrying that kinda firepower around, However I have been laying under a truck in Church Hill at 2 in the morning an a gun fight erupted three houses down from me, That being said I carry as many rounds as I can, I have three mags that stay in the center console of the car. Carry what your comfortable with but always carry at-least one extra mag.

I will always carry extra magazines (usually 2) with me. If I'm carrying IWB, I'll just shove 2 mags in my pockets. What else do you have in your front pockets anyway?
