4.4 quake yesterday in southern kalifornia.

Consider this for a moment. An earthquake along the san andreas fault so powerful that everything from los angeles to san fransisco (and everything in between) - everything - is destroyed.

Volcanic eruption in Iceland - first in 200 years - preceded by hundreds of small earthquakes. Scientists fear this may cause a massive eruption from another not so small volcano nearby...

During the Middle Ages, Icelanders called the Hekla volcano the "Gateway to Hell," believing that souls were dragged below. Hekla is Iceland's most active volcano.
