I had no clue until it was mentioned here. Fired a pound of shot at one time capable of killing 50 ducks in one shot. From the pic it looks to be about 15' long...

I have seen many of them back in Jersy in some of the old museums. They went up and down the river's killing whole flock's of Duck's and Geese with one shot. This is where the name Sneak Box boat was coined.

Utterly amazing and awesome. See, if they started executing criminals with something like that you'd have bad guys going straight real quick... Crime would drop to 0 like right now...

Most of my purchases have been right place right time. like a Taurus model M608 3" SS I bought. Saw it at a snall gun shop. After I bought it found out it was a 1 year run for a corpate buyer. Got a great deal. If I find something new production that I want I will find the best price I can or find it used. Then there are the "I GOT TO HAVE THAT ". :packin: Those are the ones that put a strain on the monthly buget. I have also lost some great deals too. :bangin: A colt govt model XSE for under 600.00
I really hated that.

This is a good question. I have to ask myself "Why so many guns" sometimes, but more often than not my wife is the one asking the question. Fortunately, as soon as I offer to let her shoot the AK-47, she quiets up about the subject.

Much like Doug said, I'd like to whittle what I own down to a few calibers but being relatively young in comparison to most of you, I still am figuring out what are those calibers.

At 24, most everybody is older than me. I'm a young whipper snapper in an predominantly older industry, (I'm one of those fast talking auctioneer fellers), so I'm quite used to it.
