If the colt is the expanse, pass on it.
You can get the colt 6920 right now for around 850 if you look hard enough.
Since you have pistols and no AR, I'd say get an AR.
I personally wouldn't own either a 1911 or AR that is a "bargain gun ". They typically have issues if used often.
Either get the Colt Government 1911 or the Colt 6920. You can find either around the price you're looking for if you are patient.
