I do have a neighbor that has seen fit to call me,instead of the police, when she's heard noises outside at night.

I've gone out at two in the morning, a few times, to check things out.

I don't mind, though. I'm always happy to be useful.

As long as there is no cleaner, lubricant or protectant, and there are no brass parts, you should be fine as long as you stay at least 1,000 feet away from everything.
