Shoot... shovel... shut up...
I have an "associate" who is a CIA field op. He was telling me that if they ever need to take a life "out of country", they kill the target, every witness (no matter who), pick-up their brass and leave.

Obviously, that wont work in areas that have video cameras everywhere... but as soon as we started talking about takin' out a coyote, that story was all I could think of. LOL

Just a quick point on using a proper adult air rifle for hunting Yote size game. We all know the basic formula for ethical hunting, at least 1 ft.lb. of energy per pound of the animal. The Air Force Condor is well know as a hunting air rifle, in stock form this air rifle is capable of producing up to 100 ft.lbs. of energy in 25 caliber. Taking a step down to the same rifle in 22 caliber can produce 38 ft.lbs in stock form. These are specifically well suited to modifications, and can thus be pushed to higher power if desired. I personally own a Talon rifle from Air Force that has the Condor bottle, and a highly modified valve. I have shot custom bullets 37 gr, and 45 gr spitzer hollow points at velocities that will produce over 100 ft.lbs of energy, and hold sub MOA groups out to the 100 yard mark. This rifle is also virtually silent, as it is factory shrouded. I would not think twice about taking a well placed shot on a yote, and actually plan on a hunt on the families property, hopefully before deer season so we can clear out some of these varmints. As the above poster linked the Quacken Bush custom rifles can produce 200+ ft.lbs of energy depending on caliber. Crosman released a PCP rifle they name the Rouge which was 357 caliber, plenty of energy, and accuracy. Only real issue was where they priced it. For the same price one could order a custom rifle from the above mentioned builder, if you can win his lottery and get on the list, or one of several other custom builders. Here is another example: http://www.extremebigboreairrifles.com/

Just some additional points,
