9 MM in stock at Cabela's online for $15.99 a box, Federal American Eagle:

http://www.cabelas.com/product/Shooting ... T.tsrc=AFF

They have been the most reliable supplier so far I have found of 9 MM ammo.

Gander mountain considers shotgun ammo as being center fire rifle cartridges and therefore any boxes of shotgun shells count towards your ten box limit.

Southern Gun World on Midlothian Trnpke has a good mix of ammo, both pistol, and rifle. Not cheap, but available.

From my e-mail tree, Short Pump Wal-mart has a few boxes of Tula left as of yesterday afternoon.

And to answer publicly a private PM... Yes, I go to a gunshop, or ammo location, every single day... I don't always BUY, but if I'm driving by the location, it's good to see what's in stock, and let people know.

I checked my Walmart last night and they must have stocked up recently eventhough the counters were bare except 1 100 WWB of 380 was in the case and I can't remember the last time I saw 380 there either.

Went by wally world again. Pretty much bare, they had 3 box's of 380.

Stopped by the newer gun shop thats tied into Gillhams lumber. They had 10 box's of 9mm target rounds, bought my 1 box limit...

Just satisfied my need from Luckygunner dot com. Prices are still high but not as bad as most.

Found Tula .308 at Walmart in Martinsburg, Wv. at lunchtime today. Got 6 of the 10 boxes they had, a few other calibers, but not as well stocked as Front Royal--best ammo stock I've seen in 2 months out of 12 stores in 3 states.

Have you ever ordered from them before? I have read good and bad things about them on various forums. I am considering putting in an order myself.

I have not, did some research and found the positives out weigh the negatives as for reviews. I figured I can keep hitting the 3 stores a day to find no ammo in them or just buy bulk from Luckygunner. I did insure my package so hopefully it shows up it one piece.

I will reply to this thread once delivered.

Ok, I just did my rounds in Manassas.

Dicks has like 50-100 boxes of Federal 22LR 50 round boxes for $10.99, and they had some 44mag and 41mag. Otherwise they had jack.

Both Walmarts have nothing other than 45 Colt and lots of rifle ammo, but no pistol ammo, except 1 box of Rem UMC 44mag, otherwise nothing.

Sharpshooters had ammo yesterday. I bought 124gr Speer 9mm for $16/box... not bad considering current availability/pricing. They had 9mm, .45, .357, and small boxes of standard velocity Federal .22LR.

Wal-mart in Chester had a few boxes of Tula 7.62 x 39, but I wouldn't make a special trip... 9 boxes go FAST!

NO ONE has 12 ga now?!?! I think it's getting kinda scary in truth! That was the LAST bastion for Joe Biden, and his double barrel Balcony skeet action! :hysterical:

As a side note, after looking online, DO NOT PAY THOSE CRAZY FRAKIN' PRICES!

Seriously folks, just cruise Wal-mart regularly, and the local gunshops that haven't jacked their prices up. Someone offering .22LR Winchester in a 500 brick for $85 is an opportunist, and they have the right to charge whatever they want... but I'm saying... if you put in the effort, you CAN get it for LOTS less!

Make the time! I got 12 boxes of Tula 7.62x39 for a little over $60 bucks! 3 bricks of .22LR at 375 rounds a brick for $80.

+1

I've found Tula .308 & .45 at 2 different Walmarts this week. .22lr is still $4.95/50 at local gun stores for CCI, or $30.00/525 for Blazer.

As of this post, NatchezSS has CCI mini-mags 100rd for $7.99 (plus shipping, limit of 5). They also have Tula 7.62 in 20rd boxes for $4.99 (3 flavors), and a couple of 5.56/.223 (Lake City $79.99/100, Remington $16.49/20).
Of course, by the time you read this, they'll probably be gone.

Online still seems the best buy. I was driving to 3 different places daily wasting gas and found better prices online than in stores that have a 1 box minimum.
