Crap! That is the day before I have to travel for work. My wife would shove that rifle so far up my ass not even TSA during a grope search would find it. When is the next one you will be involved in?

I'm game for a meet up. Unfortunately, the private land is what we need the most. I have a friend who's father owns acres in Bull Run but I haven't been able to convince him to let me shoot on it… I wish I had the $$ to buy some acres west of Leesburg. If we can get this together I'll contribute some goodies as well. :)

As far as the reloading class, I'm marking it on my calendar as it's right in my backyard.

I agree that the 300blk would be more accurate than 45acp because of the bullet shape. Subsonic rounds would be for more HD with the supersonic more for hunting. I just love the fact that it's on an AR platform, quiet suppressed (subsonic), and can still have the knockdown power over distance.

jdonovan,

I want to again thank you for making the reloading class a great experience. If anybody here wants to find out more information on reloading, the class jd helps teach is a great time!

I wanted to ask if you shoot both suppressed and unsuppressed out of your 9" AAC Upper and if you have a lower specially configured for that upper.

Its a really decent class, and having access to the instructor who wrote the course gives you a lot more insight into many of the why's about how the class it put together. Even after being a reloader for 20 years, I was surprised at how many little holes in my knowledge it filled in the first time I took it as a student. So even if you are a semi-experienced reloader, there is good info to be learned from the class.

I have run semi/super suppressed/loud. AAC recommends a H2 buffer, and it has suited all the loads I've run, so there has been no need for a specially configured dedicated lower.

Thanks! I'll go with the 9" AAC. Excited to start building my reloading work bench!
