Mine is from spending 72 hours straight on-line without food or sleep, sitting in the medical library while I was supposed to be spending only a few hours there doing medical literature research.

I wouldn't recommend it to anybody unless you wanna have some major and very crazy hallucinations. While riding my bicycle home I heard things that wasn't there and saw things that didn't exist.

I'm a fan of concealed carry. 'Nuff said. (I do frequent some places on the VCDL "unfriendly" list and to be honest - I still carry. I had a state trooper who put it this way - would you rather be charged with trespassing if you're made and they ask you to leave or would you rather be dead? )

Excellent point, but the purpose of the gun unfriendly list is to keep our dollars out of their cash register. Voting with our wallets is the best way to show any business that gun owners are the best customers they could ever hope to have.

And when possible, I do. However there are times when it's unavoidable and in my opinion, it is better to be safe than be politically correct.

Back in college the "behind the scenes" folks in theater and film productions were referred to as "Spectres" (the invisible spirits that made things work right).

Since I had a lot of film/tv major friends I wound up helping out a LOT and quickly became THE go-to guy for figuring out how to make special effects work on a shoestring budget.

One day someone came on the set asking to borrow a few "spectres" for their production and the director (my room-mate) said (in this horrible Monty Python fake french accent") ... "well, you may 'av the others, but not zis one, 'eee is not just -A- spectre, 'eee is -ZE- spectre and I cannot do without 'im!".

We all had a good laugh about that and from then on I was "Ze Spectre" (or often just "Ze")

Seemed like a good 'nick since I'm still running around behind the scenes trying to make things work right.
