Re: "The Range" in Fredericksburg
Hadn't been to the range in over a year, but have been back a few times to shoot with friends. Still the same place; a little aged, dark and grimy, but I go there to shoot, not to dine or have surgery. Never had a problem with the owner. Now that the Isaac Walton league in Spotsy has taken up the liberal mantra and punishes all gun owners for the offenses of a few, I may be back at the Range more. Can only stand and shoot there, but right now no one can even shoot at IWL.

So, what's the back story on the IWL in Spotsy?NewColonial wrote: Now that the Isaac Walton league in Spotsy has taken up the liberal mantra and punishes all gun owners for the offenses of a few, I may be back at the Range more.

Re: "The Range" in Fredericksburg
There are a few asshats that have taken to shooting buildings and other structures at IWL. In order to make the unknown vandals stop, the range officer has unilaterally closed all ranges to all members for a week. The ranges "should" reopen next week. Apparently we are to believe that will make the idiots feel bad and stop doing what they are doing. If they don't, then more restrictions will be placed on members who don't have anything to do with the criminal behavior.
