Nah, not a bad picture. Anyhow it is of a Marine which is always good.

More interesting than my old face. Where I grew up in a place the locals called Happy Valley. The firearm I ever fired and learned to shoot with - a Winchester Model 1906 in better shape than mine. The rifle helped feed the family and literally was used quite sucessfully more than once for righteous self defense. My Dad gave me the rifle and I still have it.

Speaking of pitchers, this is my new sti...uhh... planter. Yeah, that's right, ... a planter. I do use a pitcher under that little pipe that comes out to catch any..... uuhh.... condensation. Sometimes those corn plants sweat somethin' awful.

Back in the day, my Grandpa was a state LEO and he was paid to find 'em and bust 'em! But he retired about 70 years ago and it was a different state. Howsomever he did make little batches of some fine wines for 'family use' - wild grapes and berrries. I'm told his wines were very good but only family and church members taking communion got to taste it. I feel quite sure the family got the good stuff and the church got the weak stuff!

Alas, it's just a picture off the internet.

I'm not really equipped to use the espresso-making function to make any Scots-Irish coffee by using the hot-water heater function to bring sweat out of the corn that grows in that planter and then vacuuming the sweat off the corn into the espresso- - or whatever. Or even sit in the den and converse about a really neat contraption.
