From a realistic standpoint... what can you do to stop someone from screaming like that? Nothing really. You just have to ignore it. The more you try to make them stop, the more agitated and/or defiant they get and the more they do it. That female has the mentality of a child, so you have to treat her like one.
Now, if they resist and assault the officers while cuffed or not, yea, they should expected to be met with like force. I have seen people trained in martial arts get the upper hand on multiple police officers while cuffed, just using feet, knee's and head. You can't say because they are cuffed, they are no longer dangerous.

Like Trailrunner said, reckless based on speed in VA is 20 mph over the limit, or 80 mph. However, there is code that allows for a LEO to make a reckless charge based on an interpretation of behavior. That is a bunch of subjective crap.
This is the specific code I am referring to...
§ 46.2-852. Reckless driving; general rule.
Irrespective of the maximum speeds permitted by law, any person who drives a vehicle on any highway recklessly or at a speed or in a manner so as to endanger the life, limb, or property of any person shall be guilty of reckless driving.
The one Trailrunner mentioned...
§ 46.2-862. Exceeding speed limit.
A person shall be guilty of reckless driving who drives a motor vehicle on the highways in the Commonwealth (i) at a speed of twenty miles per hour or more in excess of the applicable maximum speed limit or (ii) in excess of eighty miles per hour regardless of the applicable maximum speed limit.

I wonder how many police officers there are in this country? I tried to research that, and couldn't get a solid number.
It seems that there is a large number, though.

In the past year or so, I posed the question of how many citizens per policeman was the average in this country. Someone quoted figures from the DOJ in response that there were something on the order of 160 citizens per policeman. Using 3,200,000 as the population of the US, that implies about 2,000,000 cops.

If you try to look up anymore info you might find more on the whereabouts of Jimmy Hoffa first. Yes this is a bad road but if you live around here you can see who is the most guilty.

Thank you, Dormin.
Reason I ask is, the question was posed as to whether or not there was a small percentage of misbehaving police officers. Is there an epidemic? Or does it just seem that way because it's easy to get reports and footage of such floating around the internet?
At approximately 2,000,000 officers in the nation, even if we can gather 20,000 separate incidents, that's still only 1%. It's still unacceptable to me, but not quite an epidemic.
I do expect the number to rise, incidentally. I base that expectation partly on a conversation that my father recently had with a Maryland Trooper, who relayed that he found himself retraining the new recruits from the academy. Apparently, the academy neglects to teach them that they are public servants, and everyone is guilty until proven innocent, etc.
Also, I imagine that the bulk of the academy graduates are products of the modern Public Brain Washing System, and that doesn't really give me warm fuzzies.

Yet it does seem like a slap in the face to have the corrupt condemn the corrupt.

Look around and do a different search if you don't like the link that I posted, but just with the comments in the article is exactly why myself and lots more people feel the same way about these NAZI'S!

Wow. The actions were bad enough, but the words after are downright evil.
That level of self-justification is eerily psychopathic.
Something tells me Hell will grow a bit hotter when Joey Terrell gets there.

This one is just awful. They did not do proper recon (a minivan with kids car seats in the front is a dead ringer that there are kids in the home). They threw an incendiary device not knowing where it would land, that is just plain irresponsible. Then when they hurt a baby they say "oh well collateral damage."
Way way way over the line.
How about we throw a firecracker on your face and then say so sorry Charlie.

I post this to show the NAZI thug mentality of today and I just wish some of them would've been killed in the crossfire!

Brelo fired nearly 50 shots at Timothy Russell's 1979 Chevrolet Malibu following a 25-minute chase through Cleveland on Nov. 29, 2012. He fired his Glock handgun more than any of the 13 officers who unloaded 137 shots at the car, killing Russell and his passenger, Malissa Williams.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I guess if you don't want to read this thread, you're entitled not to read this thread. Honestly, today is my first visit to this thread since its inception, and I probably won't come back to it just because it's not my cup of tea. You can feel free to do the same. *shrug*

Might be nice if our LEOs members knew that WE are not all yankee police haters getting off posting from another state, calling them nazi's..
this site,
http://www.thethinblueline.net/
Has just as many ongoing examples of proof that all LEOs AREN'T nazi's
Should I start a thread posting links from the articles there and post them practically every day on my "I Hate Mass#$*&$" thread in his state?
Nah that would be inane and stupid....
