They had WWB 357 and 9mm as well. I had 357, 9mm, and 45 in my cart, when I went to close out, only the 45 was still in stock.

Cabelas has winchester 1000rd and rem 500rd boxes of 22lr in stock.

Walmart in Petersburg has Tula 9mm / .38 Sp. Rem. / .45 Win. / .380 Rem. today at Noon.

Shoulda been at the gunshow... DAG AMMO was selling the 7.62x39 tins of 640 rounds for $209 with tax, and a cloth bag. Considering they were $179.95 BEFORE the crazy? Yeah, that was a bargain!

For those of us out here in/near the Shen Valley, the Valley Trader has a bunch of ads for 22lr at what looks to be the new normal for this stuff - $0.20/rnd.

It'll only be the new normal if people let it be the new normal. 22LR is still out there for 3-5 cents a round, you just have to be patient (and quick).

The problem with Cabelas lately is that they are taking orders as being "in stock" and then day later or sooner you get a second email stating that the order won't be filled until July or some later date. This seems to be a new practice by Cabelas as I have three orders with multiple products on each order which are now all on back order which has not happened before. Kinda weird, right? Has anyone else been experiencing this lately with Cabelas?

Seeing the same thing. Most recently with the above mentioned 22LR. When I ordered it was listed as in stock. The ordered confirmation stated "Backorder-Tentative arrival to Cabelas 05/25/13". The next day I get another confirmation for the same order that simply says "Backorder." Pretty tacky service. I think they're just collecting orders and hoping it comes in and then they'll have a sale. I've cancelled several orders with the because of this.

I've had that happen on one order, for .223. Ordered two brands, both showing in-stock, then the second email (first said it was in-stock) said they were back-ordered with a date. I've actually only received half of that order, still waiting on the second half.
They're probably not doing it on purpose, though. Just not quick enough with the inventory accumulators.

I have had great luck with cabelas, most of the time something has been backordered, it has arrived before schedule.

That's not to say that I'm paying that much. Don't intend to. Just not buying 22lr at this point. It's gotta come down at some point.

Cabelas has 22lr for 6.99/50 but it is another 5.95 to ship... and a 1 box limit.

About an hour ago, GreenTop had CCI .22LR Target lead nose rounds, 50 round box for $5.

They had 100+ boxes with a 2 box limit...
