I guess it depends. If you are burning through ammo, then it's probably not the best choice. You can stay all day though but that would probably cost much more in ammo. I don't know of any other 100 yard range that's as close.

I've shot clays there a few times and pistols once. I enjoyed it and felt safe there. I noticed a small family with kids shooting pistols there last time and it reminded me of why a range must be run safely. As others have said, I think their prices are reasonable since they do not charge a range fee. If one needs to work on marksmanship, this is a good place to do it and I like getting out in the country out of doors to shoot as well.
I have talked to a few of their staff and found them all to be friendly and helpful. They have a well stocked gun store I think.

For shotgun patterning work, you really need to use the ammo that you want to use out in the "field" (either sporting competition or hunting) rather than whatever is available at Clarks. I shoot a lot of sporting clays and have recently got myself into small gauge hunting. From my experience, most serious shotgunners will buy a variety of brands of ammo to pattern test and pick the best brand that patterns the best out of their gun. There are a lot more brands out there that perform better than the big 3 (Remington, Winchester, Federal). I assume Clarks only a small selection of shotgum ammo from the big 3.

All good points. I wonder if they would special order ammo or would accept a fee for those that need to use their own ammo?
