The Supreme Court Just Bailed on Chrysler Bondholders, allowing contract law to be ignored, we can all now stop paying our bills because OBAMA is going to rescue us...
Welcome To Fascism Folks!

First of all I want to say THANK YOU for serving this great country I call home. Several of my family members have served as well as my husband of which I am very proud.
I'm glad you are here on the forum whether it's because of your love of guns, to pass on good information or pick up some good information from a variety of people, I'm glad you're here.
You touched a subject that most of us don't want to touch with a 10 ft pole in fear that it will become racial or hurtful and I'm sure no one here wants to do that. I do not want to get into a Bush or Obama Bash here on the forum. It's like trying to convert a Baptist to Catholicism and isn't worth it. No one can MAKE you change your mind on who you want to vote for or the reasons why. You just have to weigh the differences and pray for our president as he greatly needs it. I vote Republican because my decision is faith-based. I am PRO-life, against gay marriages and the reason I am here - PRO-guns. I am not going to question why you voted for Obama. I have very good friends who do not agree with Obama, but voted for him because he is black and I really truly understand that...it's a historic moment!
I don't want this forum to push away people who don't see things EXACTLY the same way as a majority of us. I can recall a certain husband here on the forum who once thought he was a "Liberal"...he was so cute...(lol)...he just didn't know that everything he BELIEVED in wasn't liberal at all.
So, with all of that sensitive mumbo-jumbo I just wrote, please lead the way by example and not jumping all over a member of the forum for not seeing things just how we do.
Now you guys can refer to me as "The Wife" and "MOM" - now kids, let's all get along like good boys & girls...otherwise I'm going to start putting you all in the corner!

This is why I responded in the way I did in my last post. I am not too proud to agree to disagree. I am not too proud to learn something either. I am a young sailor only twenty seven and like I said I respect my elders. Whatever knowledge I can gain what ever it may be about guns or the politics governing our way of life/hobby is fine with me.

I converted a Lutheran to Baptist, that's pretty much the same thing but backwards.

I converted a Sailor into someone I can take out in public!
He even goes to church and doesn't fear the lightning bolts now!
Here's a life lesson for you:
Marry your best friend.
It sounds like crap and all, but you can LOVE a bunch of WRONG people, but your best friend -
well, that's just a whole lotta fun!

Didn't think sailors could be converted into anything that could be taken out in public. All that us old soldiers need before being taken out in public is a bath.
Marry my best friend? I only knew her for 8 weeks when we got married. It'll be 26 years in August.

fudgeva - Let's not sweat what is done. It is what it is. It's perfectly ok to disagree and state an opposing opinion. This is, after all, America. The bottom line is we need folks like you who speak their mind. I'm a career government employee so I have to be careful about what I say. After all, the president is my CINC too. Having said that, I swore an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies - you know the rest. To me, that oath takes precedence above everything else. Every morning I drive by Arlington Cemetery and look at all those stones. Those men and women made the ultimate sacrifice to protect our rights and freedom. Yes, President Obama is my CINC but my sworn oath and the thought of those lives given in vain are the priority. I would never ask you to speak out against our president, but I will speak out and ask you to stand with us and help protect our 2nd Amendment. As I said previously, without the 1st and 2nd we are as good as toast.
