I need to keep the bag fairly light (neck & back issues. I use a couple of camera/video bags. It's padded the pads adjust because of the velcro. It has pockets for different little camera gadgets, so plenty of room for mags, ear, handguns, etc.

I have an old (read: large) Dell laptop bag that I am considering modifying so it can serve as a range bag.

Between the laptop bag and the extra pockets on the guitar case I should have enough space to pack it up with enough goodies to entertain me for an hour on the range!
