Virginia Gun Owners Forum - VGOF

Your concern is not with like minded people (this forum, shops, etc) but with friends, family, others who don't have guns or are aquainted with firearms. You will get, "you took your child where?", or if something were to happen, "what were you thinking?". I was speaking with a soldier at work the other day who telling me about an incident in one of our office buildings where a guy had a gun in his desk and only got a citation. She was shocked to find out it is legal to carry a loaded firearm.

I personnally would have no problem taking my child into a gun shop. But then again, I didn't own a gun until she moved out.

We have three sons that are very well behaved, most of the time.

I have taken them to gun shops and the Nations Gun Show for years with NO issues.
They get great attention form Loudoun Guns. They are VERY cordial and the Nations Gun Show manager has been awesome to them. One of them lost a wallet and she made it a point to get it back to him.

These are several years old, but the people at the shops and shows are great!
