No comment :quiet:
Is OC not a favored practice?

Whoops. Did I disturb a hornets nest? Being new to the forum, I haven't got a real good feel for the people here just yet. I've been told I'm a bit... shall we say... opinionated?
I live in NOVA and love to OC, just not around here...its an invitation to be hassled...I freely OC when away from here though...

Sounds like Philly. Maybe we need to have regular OC meets there.;)

You'll fit in fine. OC can be a hot topic and we split on it frequently.

Edit: If you are looking for some entertainment you could use the search function.

Welcome to VGOF and it is always nice to have another OC fan on the forum. I live in Prince William county just south of the Chantilly area and i have found that OC is not as frowned upon there as it is in Fairfax or Loudon county. I usally OC to and from the Range and when i am out and about on Saturdays with littl to no problems. I have answered questions when aske in the checkout lines like "are you a police officer?" and I answer that I am not, but I am a concerned citizen and and most of the times the conversation ends on a very friendly note. If folks are against guns there is not much you can do except try and educate them and be plesant as you talk to them.

Yeah, but she is cute young lady, and I am a 50 year old, that is both Vertical and Horizontally challenged, and a White Male. Big Difference :hysterical:

OC is pretty well accepted where I live. It's strange because I could spit on the Maryland border where if you see a gun, it's either a cop, or the end of your life. Adams county PA (Littlestown, Gettysburg, Hanover) is a pretty rural area. I've only received negative comments a couple times since I started OCing around a year ago. I've found that people are more curious than scared. They just don't realize it's legal. Once they talk to you about it and you give them some information. Most of the time they leave with a look on their face that seems to say, "I might need to look in to this.".

It also helps how you present yourself. You don't wanna look like this guy--- :pistol:

Sorry to be a bug. What course are you referring to and how do I get info on it?
