Speedloader of some type

Close enough. It is a SL Variant speedloader for a revolver. k5, your turn now.

Man, you guys are good at this. I've looked at every one of them so far and can't even put a guess out there.

Good enough. I was trying to find a pic of the M4 style feedramps, but I guess that style has proliferated all over.

I spent enough time cleaning those things, I'd kick myself if I didn't get that one.

I knew it was possible and easy to do, but no one seemed to do it yet. I just hoped it continued that way.

While I did read the picture eventually, I didn't need to. I knew what it was at first glance. I worked in the VaARNG Calibration Lab in Richmond for several years. Those .50 cal. gages, and other small arms gages, were sent to us at certain intervals to check for wear. There was also a small arms shop in the building I worked in.

Nope, it's used on old firearms and replicas, not on modern firearms.
