I'd have no problem with it if the policy applied to everyone.

I went to high school with Sikhs, they carried but then this was back in the dark ages when having a pocketknife was not grounds for calling out the SWAT unit. Hell, one of them was on the varsity basketball team (Sikhs tend to be fairly tall) and I'm pretty sure he had his dagger on him when he suited up.

If these kids should be allowed to carry knives because its part of their religion then redneck kids ought to be allowed to carry shotguns...

Hey now ,there 's an idea,,,,"The United Church of the Gun" Probably have a hard time getting the church tax exemption from the IRS though!!

All joking aside, freedom of religion is just one of the natural rights the Constitution spells out. What makes the others such as self defense/arms any different?

I was not joking...no difference between the 2 IMHO...its all about a way of life...I grew up toting a shotgun or rifle. Why cant I tote one in school.
