Aside from the gun issue its a pretty nice state (outside of big cities like Boston). Its a shame such a patriotic region would be so anti-gun. Many important historical evens took place all over Massachusetts. Most of which were supported by an armed populace.grumpyMSG wrote:Just for a little self education, why would somebody want to live in Massachusetts?
I just got done with a debate on my nerd forum and theres not a whole lot of young technicians who understand these things. They think Hitler was fake and just made up to sell bonds so the government could get out of trouble. Not quite like that but they just dont understand how the world works. Even if you explain things over and over again.
I see Mass the same way. Full of really smart, well-educated people who just dont understand. I guess the molecules in your synapses have to be arranged a certain way or something. Reading and learning are not automatically incurred at the same time as thinking.
I told them Switzerland had guns, Poland did not. That should be enough to end the debate right there.
No. It continued on about how Germany was really not all that dangerous and the guns never mattered anyway. Thread lasted about 1100 posts. Still going I think. And if you were to pile all those guys into one or two states, it would be California and Massachusetts. Smart people. Hard working people. I respect them.
They just dont understand. Which is why I dont hate on gun grabbers or put them down. Its just a debate, and should always be treated as such.
