Democrats delay action on young immigrants bill

WASHINGTON (AP) - Democrats have delayed a showdown vote on legislation carving out a path to legal status for foreign-born youngsters brought to this country illegally.
Facing GOP objections, Democrats are putting aside the so-called Dream Act. They're short of the 60 votes needed to advance the measure.

These words from exiting Senator are exactly one of the reasons the dipship post his job...The WE will vote for it forgets that We THE PEOPLE have a big say in that nad every other bill they may try and pass,.....

If that fails, the outgoing senator said, Republicans have privately discussed the prospects of writing and passing a version of the DREAM Act that could make its way through Congress.

We'll be getting a lot of walking papers ready if they do!!

Best thing they have done in a while,,, Now if we could just shut the biggest Royal PITA in the Congress up for good it would really be a good year,,, It will be a great day indeed when Nancy the butthole Pelosi is run out of Washington on her frickin broom once and for all!!! FYI ,,our two spineless jellyfish (Senators?) both voted Yes on this POS..... It;s gonna be sweet to boot them both out in the upcoming elections

"Undocumented students"??

Let the record show that your token Liberal here is very pleased to read this news of the DREAM act going down in flames. It is bad for the United States and never should've been proposed in the first place. That our two Senators voted for it is exceedingly disappointing.

Nah ,not when you consider that both of these tools without exception have followed the Democratic party voting line in each and every case irregardless of any groups protests or complaints/ If either of them ever had an original thought it would certainly bear watching but the pinheads aren't affected by these things so it's easy for them to attempt selling them to us as "Good for the Country". When you sit on 75 million or so like Warner it must be easy to play socialist chess knowing that you won't be affected with the bad decisions you make and can just ignore them,,,, VA will indeed be a far better state after these two useless jackasses are gone!

Boot them out eh? Well, we all certainly know what that means. Wait the required time - 2 or 6 years - cast our votes and HOPE they get canned. The only sure fire way to "boot them out" is to go over there with tar, feathers, pitchforks, and torches...but that aint happening...
