He gave Bush a Koran as a party favor,,,Wonder if he left it in the night stand at the White House for Obama?? The act that the Imam is going thru now seems very different than the accounts of his past behavior in those articles.

Playing politics because it isn't PC to suggest this is a clash of civilizations. They have to downplay it, but their very actions designed to reach out to a particular Islamic civilization proves the contrary point. Such outreach would not be needed if this wasn't a clash of civilizations.

The messages that I saw concerning both the mosque at Ground Zero and the preacher buring the Koran were this: The muslims kept screaming that ALL muslims should not be grouped together with the few that are Islamic extremists (AKA terrorists), and that they were peaceful and want to reach out in fellowship to others in the world of all religions. Next I saw ONE individual threaten to burn a single copy of the Koran and suddenly throusands of muslims cry out that they will kill Americans and call for the death of Americans. I was thinking well that guy must have fished out the true feelings of many muslims that had previously proclaimed that they were NOT like that! LOL... lets face it people, this is a religion that has time and time again called for the death of NON-muslims. This is a religion that controls its own followers with fear and violence, so why would it seem so crazy that they would gladly use these tactics on others outside their own religion? It is against the law in Arab countries to convert away from Islam. That says something right there! It is punishable by death for anyone in those countries to preach any other religion but Islam. Christian teachings say that "Thou shall not kill" in the Muslim religion you can kill thousands of people if one person burns your bible! Great bunch of people I tell you!

@Garrett - I agree, but it seems the reason behind the outreach is a little for both those presidents...
