Is that really all that much of a surprise? She's obviously not the brightest crayon in the box. I mean common sense says pull your keys out before you leave the building and pay attention to your surroundings. Common sense aside, has she never seen a horror movie? It depends. Was she even aware of her situation? On our HOA Forum a young lady recounted how she was approached by a creep she didn't even see lurking by her car. She parked "out of the way" and was distracted as she went out - cell phone in one ear, digging in her purse for her keys, etc. All of the sudden there's this guy "asking for directions." The only weapons she had were her voice and her car. She escaped, but was the lesson leared? Nope - still an "anti."
