Hatteras is in the cross hairs of a nasty Category 3 - 4 storm.

The storm's not too bad this morning. Just a little rain, a little wind and some killer waves. We got off lucky this time 'round.

I got nothing here. Was hoping for rain and wind. At least it cooled off.

Nothing more than standard wind and a little rain in Norfolk. Didn't think it was going to be bad in the first place so I didn't really prepare except to buy a couple candles. We've had regular thunderstorms much much worse.

I was hoping for some rain. We got a very little sprinkle this morning - looks like the easterlies have picked it up and taking it away up to New England now.

It must not have done much damage. I'm still waiting for the call to leave.
