Hey, Marquis J. Byrd you know the other day when we met I thought you were a pretty ok kind of guy. We here on this forum are a group that love our Second Amendment right just as much as our 1st Amendment right and we make no excuses for that, We are very protective of these rights as there are so many that wish to strip both of them from us. You will find that most here are conservative in nature, and at this current point in time do not like the direction that our country is going in. If you are happy with the direction then so be it.

If you really feel that way about us on this site then maybe you might want to try elsewhere when you need help when the current administration come to take your rights away that you are currently enjoying.

Now that I am reading all the posts in reply to your Must Read I see that you have stirred things up. I am sure before you joined this forum that like the rest of us you read the comments and you knew what you were getting into when you joined.
To make an overall judgment about the folks here on this site is really in bad taste. By the way did I in some way offend you when we met during the transaction for the pistol? (Yes GS78 I did by the HiPoint it was a good deal and a good shooting pistol)

I saw that you had a 'Thin Blue Line" emblem on the back of your car is that because you are a police officer? As far as not being able to handle ourselves in a Face to Face confrontational environment in person you might be surprised. If I was to take a poll here I would probably find that at least 90% of us have or are still serving as Law Enforcement or Military so, Please do not make generalized statement on folks that you have never met

There are some comments on here that can be read a lot of different ways. Generally, if there's a comment about a thug or whatever - it's because we're talking specifically about an "undesirable" - not because of race/color, but because of actions and how they exhibit themselves.

You can read whatever you want to into the comments on this board, but in the end, just remember that pulling the race card to complain about things is just as bad (and frankly a lot more prevalent these days) as racism. Call it "reverse racism" if you like - but it's racism no matter how you look at it.

Here's a picture that TheWife took when we went to the mall today as we pointed and snickered and shook our heads. Draw your own conclusions and read into this picture whatever you wish.
Here's what I read into it - Swaggering around the mall with your pants falling off of your ass, and going so far as to pull your shirt tail up so that your underwear can be seen is undesirable to me, and I will refer to you as a thug - an undesirable. Unfortunately for those who wish to be treated like normal human beings - people dressing and acting like the person in the picture above are all too prevalent and lend themselves to stereotypes, thereby perpetuating the stereotypes.

Clearly, there are similar problems on both sides of the line. I will treat a skinhead exactly the same way as the undesirable pictured above. As long as they (THEY - UNDESIRABLE REGARDLESS OF SKIN COLOR) don't bother me, I don't have any reason to look at them, speak to them, and will totally ignore their existence (other than keeping SA of where they are in relation to my bubble).

There - now you have my .02 worth on the subject.
