and it has its proper applications...and with it being internal to the guide rod, it is not in the way at all...on / off switch is at my finger tip, and is not one of those pressure pads, actually there is nothing on the outside of the pistol that is any "extra", nor can you readily tell that it even has a lazer mounted unless you have it in your hands and know what your looking for...it is a "pulsing lazer" that shows up very well during the day..esp on light colored clothing/paper/fur/whatever...it was also fairly exp. compared to other lazers (red)
and much like pistol types, it is a preference, and much like the boy scout motto, i would rather have it and not need it, than vice vesa. It is one item in many that we have at our disposal to personalize and dress up our firearms...
but to the OP question, not that i know of... i do know that in other states some hunting with lazers is illegal, but that is all that comes to mind...
And When i add on the "Pistol Mounted Tacticle Bayonette", let the jokes flow...
