Well, folks, with BHO holding down the job of POTUS, I'm bound to suggest that BOHICA will inevitably become a part of the lexicon among gun owners.

CAN = Suppressor / Silencer
SBR = Short Barrel Rifle
SRB = Short Rifle Barrel
POI = Point of Impact
POA = Point of Aim

Oh, come on now. This is getting a hair silly. As long winded as some of us can get (myself included), must we abbrev. everything? In a 2000 word post, 20 characters won't make a difference, and in a short post.... well, that's just kind of lazy, lol.

being that I came from PRMD, and the MDShooters forum, I was exposed to these a lot:
HBAR - Heavy Barrel, usually used when describing a MD-legal AR type.
EBR - Evil Black Rifle
IBTL - In Before The Lock: Getting your token post in a thread before the mods lock it down. Used when the poster strongly suspects the mod will deem the post inappropriate.
