That's irrelevant - he did say he created it - same difference. Same as he said the earth is a couple of million degrees hot at the center...

And if we don't stop driving cars and burning coal, the earth will be a couple million degrees on the surface too!

Hey, it could stand to warm up a few degrees here. Then I wouldnt have to shovel 3 feet of snow.

Here are some references for "create" and "invent." Note that they have virtually the same meanings and that create has invent as a synonym.

Create -- http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/create

Invent -- http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/invent

Thereby - there is nothing wrong with saying gore invented the internets. He himself said he created the internets and both terms mean the same thing.

And, so I can back up my accusation that gore the scientist said what he did here's a link to the video. Btw, I did not accurately contribute what he said and my profound apologies. I said that he said the center of the earth was "a couple million degrees" at the center. He actually said several million degrees hot. Here's the video. Watch and learn the truth that gore is an uniformed uneducated liar.

Guess every time a sportscaster says Peyton Manning can "throw the ball a mile" or "hit the cover off the ball" they should also be branded as liars? Gore was correct in principal, the core is hot enough to provide geothermal energy, but way off on how hot in actual degrees. That does not constitute a lie, it is an error.

But OK, I'll agree with you that Gore's a liar. Then, based on the quotes below

---"Trees cause more pollution than automobiles."

---"All the waste in a year from a nuclear power plant can be stored under a desk."

we can both agree that Ronald Reagan was also a liar since he made those statements (on the record). Whats good for the goose....

Ah, nothing like open debate with an opposing view. Good stuff Leonidis. Regarding those other "liars" I honestly dont care. Nothing anyone says will get me to give gore a pass. His lies are going to cost us big time if crap and tax (cap and trade) gets passed.

He has a carbon footprint larger than the state of Alaska and has the unmitigated gall and audacity to push this garbage.

And, the most important thing since he's the head honcho for global warming he cant afford to make such glaring "errors." He should know better. He has a moral, legal, and ethical responsibility to make sure what he says is true - or as you say error free.

For those wondering the center of the earth is around 6000 degrees C - so the experts tell us. Thats a pretty big error (several million degrees) for someone to make when they are supposed to THE man for global warming and energy solutions.
