Remember when the Vice President had exactly two jobs?

1) To replace the President in the event of death or incapacitation.
2) To break a tie in the House.

Where did all the rest of this "authority" come from? It has just been assumed and nobody has ever argued any of it. Despicable.

I remember when they had three functions,

the two previously mentioned and to attend the funeral services of international dignitaries that the President deemed unimportant.

Recall he was also assigned to head up the stimulus but I aint seen him do squat with that. Timmy Taxcheat has ran that show.
