AllInGeneral, you got that in stock?
I'm all out of bionic eyes at the moment and from what I can tell, they are backordered for a very long time. If I get any in stock, I'll let you know!

Thanks. I will be placing an order for some new bells and whistles for the FrankenStag as soon as Miss RangeLog gets over the last $400 purchase on Tuesday, after getting the M4 on Monday.

I have a bushmaster M4A3 and a S&W MP15 with extras, both are nice weapons, accurate and tight. I think any of the top shelf Ar's are worth the dough, but I have seen friends who try to save a few bucks and get something they aren't happy with once the honeymoon is over.... my advice, spend the xtra cash if you can ...

How do you feel about the S&W? How's it compare to the Bushy?

I would recommend the S&W over the Bushy but since prices have dropped I would buy either a Colt 6920 or a Daniel Defense M4 XV w/Omega Rail (Cold Hammer Forged Barrel).

Congrats on the AR, I bought the DPMS AP-4 and have no regrets as it has not failed in 800rds put downrange, I got this 3 months BEFORE the election last year. That being said Colt makes MIL-SPEC parts for their rifles a nd does NDT testing on the thwm plus PROPER staking,THIS IS WHY COLT COST MORE. I can change out my Bolt Carrier group on the DPMS stake the castle nut and feel confident that I can at least hang with the tier 1 rifles if I ever get to do a carbine course.
Don't worry about the old eyes, that's why they make optics

It's fine, as long as you don't need to shoot to the weapon's capabilities, and you don't mind cleaning. I've shot 150 rounds of Wolf 9mm along with some older carry ammo/strays over the last couple of weeks and all I can say for the Wolf is that it came out of the barrel every time I pulled the trigger. Considering the fact that I was very busy calculating elevations at 15 yards, it wasn't too bad because I had to wait for the smoke cloud to clear between shots, so it gave me something to do. Add to that I've filled in that rut beside the driveway using the soot that I cleaned out of my handgun, and it's not a total loss.

I've sold about 100 and of that maybe 60 on gunbroker, it's good business! BUT you have to offer something special which takes time to build...that means no manufacture built stripped uppers with a few additions.

Alright, Mrs. RangeLog allowed me to make a couple of additions. I got the grip, a tac sling (need to get the VTAC 3 point), surefire light (not mounted - cuz I need to buy the right mounting kit) and last but very not least. The EO Tech reflex site. I love this optic. Took about 5 minutes to get sighted in.
LOVING IT!!!!!

I've got the EOTECH on one of mine, a S&W MP15T, I don't really like it, it was easy to sight in as you say, I just don't like it, maybe its better with a magnifier? I don't know... I have a real nice quick release tactical on my bushmaster that I like a whole lot more.(I like what you've done with yours though, very nice)

Ya, I have heard mixed reviews about the EO Tech. Most of my military buddy's swear by the AIMPOINT, while my LE friends like the EO Tech. Personally, I went with it because the field of view and the type of scenarios I shoot within don't lend themselves to longer shots or magnification. The red dot shape is large enough for me to place a shot on each target while making quicker transitions, while I can increase the size on the AIMPOINT, it also seems to block the view. In short, it's not for every scenario.
Have you posted any photos of the S&W MP15T? That's a sweet ride. My next carbine is going to be a bushmaster lower with a VTAC upper. Again, have to wait for Mrs. RangeLog to approve. So, that will be next year
