I have an AMT Backup SAO chambered in .380. With 5 in the mag and 1 in the tube, it's a good bit of bang in a very small package. It fits completely under my hand, yet can reliably put 95 gr rounds downrange with surprising accuracy for such a short barrel.

I shot my P3AT for the 1st time today. I am ordering a mag extension and a finger extension for That magazine. Why? That little sucker HURTS to shoot! The trigger guard smacks the tar outta your trigger no matter how tight ya grip it with my big hands! It has violent muzzle flip on firing and with only one and a half fingers on the grip, it just ain't enough. Mine also shoots 6 - 8" or so low and 4 - 6" left from point of aim.

For a last ditch, short range deep cover gun, it is OK at best so far as far as I am concerned.

Since my EDC is a Smith M36 J Frame you know my BUG is pretty small. For days when I "really don't need a gun" I really like my NAA Guardian .32ACP. It has become my number one BUG. It carrys real easy in a pocket holster but is a bit too heavy for unsecured pocket carry. It's plenty accurate if you can get past the horrid trigger pull.

My other current BUG is a Beretta 21A - but it is about the same size (much lighter thou) as the NAA and only a .22LR. I still pop it into the carry roatation occasionally.

I also have a very prized Bauer .25 auto, which is a liscensed built clone of the Browning Baby - only in stainless steel. I pulled it from my carry rotation after it began to FTF progressivly worse and worse at the range. Turns out to be a very common probalem with a worn out recoli spring assy but I've never bought a new one for it. Seeing how they have a little cult following these days I'll probally just keep it in the safe and not have to worry about something happeng to it, since I have many other carry options now.

Mice are nice. While having a .45 at hand at all times would be ideal, being able to defend yourself competently and lethally with minimal cover garments is a force multiplier.

I got the mag extension and it made a WORLD of difference! It now hits dead on point of aim! I was hitting a 6" circle at about 15 - 20 yards with this puppy! I couldn't believe it. That is right AND left handed! Yes, the recoil is still punishing and 3 - 4 magazines worth is about all I can take at a sitting but it hits where pointed and my faith in it is MUCH higher now.

I'm so happy that you mentioned shooting weak-handed! I don't know what it is about my AMT, but the very first time I shot it left-handed it was right on. I suppose it has something to do with the thumb being more in line with the barrel, but for a platform which SHOULD be very inaccurate, swapping hands was no problem in the scoring department.
