HoMeBoY sights do have their purpose.

I can't speak for everyone but in certain cases this gun is recommended with stock sights but sight picture is critical!

Heck, we often insult each other here. Most of us arent easily offended unless our rights, country, values, and Constitution are attacked - much like whats happening right now...

I'd have to say that we're on a pretty even keel with regard to race, religion, etc. I've got no problem with HoMeBoY sights. Some people might even like them. Ya gotta admit that the advertisement has a bit of comedic value.

Now, coming in here with a name like "gangsta" and posting a mug shot (presumably of yourself) as your avatar might be viewed a certain way - I'd say that you're portraying a pretty specific stereotype by creating a profile such as yours.

eitherway, posts show that stereotypes of young muslims or young african americans or even worse young muslim african americans are fine here. my poppie had the same problem when he returned from germany in 1946. thats why he went up north. not as bad. dont know why i should expect any different.

I'm here as a new Virginian who stared collecting firearms while in the Army. Began with turn of the century turnbolts, then antique 22 rifles, then autoloading pistols (mostly issue M1911s and M1911A1s), then S&W revolvers. I still have just about every gun I've ever collected. I have traded a few and have gifted many more to friends' kids (classic vintage turnbolt .22lr rifles) but that was only either to upgrade or to get the next generation interested in the shooting sports.

Wasn't me who brought racial or religious intolerance here. I'll move on. Trust me, an educated black Muslim American is likely never to be welcome here. He'll certainly not feel welcome here after going through the fora and reading many of the posts. Measure what you say about this place against what is actually expressed by the posters here and is accepted here. Those posts are truly the bare face of this site as they are with any other site.

Perhaps I'll see you at the next Virginia Gun Collector's Association show in March at the Prince Wm County fairgrounds. Perhaps not.

Look, man. You came in here with a chip on your shoulder, created a profile that is bound to give anyone a predisposed expectation of who you are and what you're about. You intentionally stirred the pot with your profile and further by flagging posts as offensive. If your skin is so thin that a parody advertisement about rappers shooting sideways offends you that much, then maybe you should take a look at yourself and ask "Why do people treat me this way?".

When you present yourself as such and come into the forum looking for reasons to be offended or unwelcome, then you're sure to find it. Keep living your life and looking for reasons for people to dislike you - or the alternative is to carry yourself and present yourself in a manner that is respectable, and respect you will receive.
