I don't want to get into to much detail here, but there has to be a sign at each established building in which the prohibitions are in place and it must be posted at every door. This isn't an "I think" or an opinion. I went through it. Well... it was the Judge's opinion, not mine.

As an organization requiring membership, they posted a policy within their rules of membership banning firearms? That's pretty solid evidence that you cannot bring a gun there, if that is the case.

That's a great point Jim. I don't belong to any Big Box Stores, but if you signed a membership application that either specified you are not allowed to carry a weapon, the rules may vary and are posted on the company website, and/or specifies the rules are subject to change without notice, you pretty much have no recourse.

I just don't do business with stores that don't allow me to defend myself.

and that is the exact way to handle it. Hit them where it hurts....in the wallet.

Don't get caught and assume "I didn't see the sign." will help in court since you've now admitted to knowing about their signage on an open social media site.
