My son is not on the spectrum but has learning challenges. So I get some of your concerns.


Why don't you two start off with a little pellet gun and some cans and start plinking. You can learn safe handgun handling and learn how to aim with training wheels on so to speak. My kids love their air rifles and it has been the best thing to teach them safe gun handling.
