The possibility of a space weather event existed before this EO¹, as did the ability of the government to declare martial law. This EO did not grant any additional powers as regards to martial law, so the contents of this EO change nothing about reasons/legality/probability of martial law. The EO basically puts government departments on notice that they need to pay attention to this and, interesting enough, give the bureaucrats some deadlines to get 'er done!

¹Canada suffered from a significant space weather event in 1989, that brought down part of their electric power grid, so this is not speculative.

I told him, "I want to pound nails!"
He said, "Best use a hammer instead."

I dont know what it will take.. mass gun confiscation?

So if Hillary gets elected and the repubs keep the senate and or congress, she wont be able to appoint a judge or will she? I dont know how long they can hold that off, but who knows.

If she gets elected and appoints someone that is anti 2a ( which she will do) , can anyone undo a ruling that drastically outlaws or limits personal defense and gun owner ship? With 100 mill plus gun owners I could see that being a big issue. Lets just hope she dosnt get in.

Maybe there is enough prolife + 2a + small business voters left that will side with Trump?
