Right now? Guzzling a mix of Vanilla, Hazelnut, and Cuban Roast from Wa-Wa, with a touch of Cinnamon, and Half/half....

Breakfast of freakin' champions!

Mamabear...the news of Alan Rickman was definitely depressing.

That being said - two fingers, Woodford Reserve.

Here here.

Found this coffee company by the name of Grounds & Hounds, which not only makes a decent cup of coffee, but also practices the rare and philanthropic business model of giving back - in this case, targeted towards shelter dogs. In addition, there is also a veteran's discount available.
20% of all proceeds received by Grounds & Hounds Coffee Co. will be donated to our rescue partner located closest to you.
The name of the specific blend this morning goes by Paper and Slippers. Good stuff!

My second cup of Chai Tea since a supper of baked chicken, mashed potatoes/gravy (made from the chicken drippings/grease), green beans and dinner rolls. A good way to end a cold snowy winter day.

I just finished a bottle of cranberry juice, which is a typical end-of-driveshift beverage, along with orange juice.

SWMBO found a case of hard sparklng cider in the basement that I had bottled at least 20 years ago and forgotten. it was chilled from having been set out on the porch to get the "nasty things out of her house", so I popped the top off one and passed it around to a couple of guys after tasting it. It was pronounced not only potable, but pleasant. They allowed as how it was "right meller". The sediment from the secondary in-the-bottle fermentation that carbonated it was set up hard enough that it wasn't difficult to drink it without having the sediment ("drugs" [i.e.dregs], as the old-timers called it) rise into the cider. I reckon no harm can come of drinking it; as the sun rose this cold morning upon my still-breathing, symptom-free self. There's a lot to be said for glass bottles with steel crown closures.

Well, good, glad to see that I'm not the only one drinking coffee, this time of day.

Can't wait to come home and crack open an ice cold Modelo.

Black coffee now....something a bit more appropriate by noon, I'm sure. That's if my company lets us take off before I'm stuck in the city.
