I'm sure it will not take much to get hooked. That's how I ended up with a Harley and a Corvette.....It all starts with a test drive!

Marc, It was great meeting you yesterday and thanks for letting me get a few rounds downrange with the 308! I also appreciate the help getting the AR47 un-jammed. I am sending it back to have them take a look and see what it up with it!

Same here Lester! I'm glad you enjoyed shooting the 308. That is an amazing weapon. SIG did a good job for sure.

I'm really sorry about the AR47. I'm glad I was able to help get it apart. Worst thing to do is leave a round jammed in the barrel. Very dangerous. It looks like both the BCG and the upper frame have damage, but the bolt carrier itself looks like it was not manufactured correctly.

Did you get any rounds through it before it failed?

It looked great. Hopefully the company will replace the parts for you very soon. I bet you will have a ton of fun once it gets squared away. Keep us in the loop on how it goes.

We could have pooled our $$$ and bought a small car instead ! It was sure fun shooting the Slidefire and even more fun watching everyone else. At our next shooting SPREE I am going to have the range "SLIDEFIRE READY " ......Big Dirt pile and nothing else!

LOL. You guys are too funny.

I have to be honest. I was having a good time watching you guy smile when that sucker went off. That was the best part of the day.

Next time we get together I'll bring the slide fire, but my lever long guns have been long neglected. My babies need some real range time.

Marc, Looks like fun. how controlled is this on 3 round burst settings? From the looks of the slide fire web site, its easy to change out. Is that true?

It's actually very controllable. If you wear some quality headphones and put the volume at a decent level, when I do the mag dump, you will hear all the rounds hit steel. We were shooting rail road track tie down plates ar 10 yards. They're about the same size as an 8 by 11 sheet of paper.

Awesome! Can't wait to see some video. The 22LR's are very controllable with the slide fire stock. That is going to be a good time!
