But I do remember Ricky Rudd and his team stopping at my Dad's Texaco station almost every weekend back in his dirt track racing days. He used to have a blue converted school bus with a ramp on the back. They usually had a trophy sitting on the front seat too.

LeMons race looks like fun. Maybe a few of us could do a VGOF themed car.
I was reading the rules; it looks like one could spend more on the safety gear that they require than the actual car.

You are only supposed to spend around $500 on the car, but that doesn't include the safety equipment required to pass tech inspection.
