This is no different than Stalin's rewriting history to eliminate facts he wasn't comfortable with or the Taliban blowing up ancient religious shrines. It amounts to purging ideas that a currently dominant faction find inconvenient to their particular preferred version of how-things-are. This tyranny of the mind is the basest and most invasive kind of tyrany and intolerance. Next they'll be burning books.

I was on Rt. 36 @ Fort Lee heading West towards Petersburg following 3 VDOT dump trucks each loaded with dirt. They turned in to Petersburg Battlefield Park. I continued West on Rt . 36. I got to thinking about what those dump trucks were working on .....Then I thought.... Has T-Mac has ordered The Crater Filled In ? If I wasn't pulling my trailer I would have turned around and followed , just to see what they were doing !

History is unfortunately written by the winners. In some ways I can understand their point but not that the flag is racist, the flag is that of rebellion and thus treason, yet somehow those looking to ban it are too stupid to understand that. However no amount of banning or whining will ever change the fact that the CSA flag is part of our history.

I also find it funny that all these companies are banning it yet only the most well known one. Go ahead look on amazon, no you won't find the stars and bars but you will find the bonnie blue and even the Virginia battle flag. Seriously there's like a hundred variations of it, they can't ban them all because they're too ignorant to know them.

Apple banned civil war games that have the Confederate flag. There are now calls for banning Gone With the Wind.
Think hypocrisy is not in effect? Google, Ebay and Amazon still have Nazi items available for sale.

This was just another way of observing that it is the victors who write the history.
